What we thought of it: Not exactly like the 'Choklit Shoppe' that we have all read about. But they do serve some good food. Almost everything on their menu is good and they have a wide range of food as they serve Mexican, Italian and Continental food.
It is also reasonable priced and hence attracts a fair bit of college crowd.
We haven't been here in a while, so if you go there anytime soon let us know what you think of the food
Happy Hours!!! Don't we all love Pop tates for the lovely smell of beer along with the perfectly burnt aroma of the sizzler ordered at the table next to you. Pop tates has been one of our regular hang outs for the longest time we can recollect. Its a great place to relax, grab a beer and catch up with friends or family. And if you make it here between happy hours, you'll definately return home a little tipsy with all the alcohol that might get into your system in those brief 4 hours!!
This is my den! Hit this place for Awesome food+cool cocktails+happy hours+value for money!..Seriously best place to be when u wanna save some money and have a good time when ur in college...n by the time u start workin...u just get too addicted to the food n drinks here!...Ask the manager Melvin there for his special cocktails and trust me he'll make you really happy!...Ive tried everythin they have on the menu and each dish has its own unique flavour which one can relish...No wonder the every second table here has a "regular client" sittin on it and havin a good time, every single time. Only time when I would not recommend this place is when some couples just wanna have a quiet sit down dinner...Pop Tate's does get noisy...obviously coz everyone there is havin a great meal at this 'unrestaurant'!! Three Cheers!!
