Places to go to for Breakfast in Bombay

  • Gallops at the Mahalakshmi Racecourse has what they call 'The Morning Bar' that opens at 6:30 every morning for breakfast. Renowned for its Melba Toast, The Morning Bar is a favourite with South Mumbaiites for an after walk cuppa or small bite.

  • Crepe Station at Bandra has a great breakfast. They serve eggs made-to-order, cereal, muesli, sausages, bacon at a very reasonable price. The Bandra model crowd that hangs out there is an added bonus.

  • Just Around The Corner is one of the suburban favourites for breakfast. They have cereal, made-to-order eggs, bacon, baked beans, hash browns and even a South Indian breakfast.

  • Sundance Cafe opens for breakfast only at 9:00 AM. It is the perfect place to grab a bite before work if you are too busy to whip up a couple of eggs at home.

  • Cafe Mondegar opens bright early and attracts a lot of the tourist crowd. This place doesnt start getting crowded until about 10, so if you would like a quiet private breakfast we suggest you go there earlier.

  • Boulevard, the coffee shop at The Orchid Hotel has a breakfast buffet thats worth trying out.

  • Apart from these, a whole bunch of Parsi/Irani joints open up bright and early. Check out places like Yazdani, Kyani, Britannia, Sassanian etc. for their awesome Chai and Akoori

Shooter’s is poised to become Bandra’s “friendly neighbourhood bar”. Shooters is a casual full service facility with a seating capacity of 100 covers incorporated in December 2003. It is not conceived as a theme restaurant, but as a comfortable place where guests can enjoy professionally mixed shooters and grilled snacks, all very reasonably priced, amidst great retro & more music spun by their resident DJ, DJ Alex. All this with comfortable yet classy interiors and ambience.
