What it says about itself: A chic neighborhood bistro, offering a leisurely, upscale dinning experience. With an eclectic menu offering, featuring global fusion, in an ambient setting, paired with fine wines. After 8 years of experience in the hospitality industry, specializing in F'n'B Management, Roy Edwin, along with his wife Geetika, conceptualized "5- The Restaurant". Their vision was clear and unique - to create an orignal, F'n'B product an up market look and feel, that would satiate the desires of the aspiring, value-driven middle market. On April 5, 2002, ' 5-The Resturant' opened its doors to the public, for lunch and dinner, 7 days a week.
5-The Restaurant has laid out a special menu to beat the heat this summer with a choice of soups, salads and main courses along with special low fat dessert.
The delicacies include spearmint flavoured cold Cucumber Soup or oregano flavoured Papaya soup, Shrimp cocktail, Mango salad, Mint chickewn, Lemon cheese cake and a lot more.

What we thought of it: This small restaurant is probably one of those that you have only heard of from friends. You probably won't even notice until your friend takes you there. And when you do go there, be prepared to delight your senses. The flavours and smells leave you spellbound. The only words to describe the desserts are .."sinfully divine".

Amazing food and ambience and packed...dont forget to book your table
Good food but very expensive
This place is truly awesome. i'v come here several times over the years, and not a single time have i been disappointed. the food is excellent, the ambience perfect for a quiet, romantic dinner and the service is prompt. if you're not sure what you want to order, just ask the steward, they'll do a good job of recommending you the right stuff.
One afternoon, with a close friend, during heavy rains I landed up at 5. It was the second time I had been there, but the experience was unlike the first one I had for dinner. I never felt so cosy and keen for lunch and the sight through my window seat ahead of a colourful flower contrasting the interiors was just right… though I admit, most of the time my eyes were set on my friend ;-) Enjoyed the sumptuous Italian cuisine and conversation… of course in English. This one being close to office and home, I would surely want to go there again.
